Since 2005, WCGA has placed many greyhounds into loving homes. We have now made the decision to no longer bring greyhounds in from the tracks. We will continue to provide support to our adopters, to accept and place relinquished greyhounds, to educate the public about greyhound adoption, and to assist other northern California greyhound adoption organizations. Available greyhounds will be shown on our "Availables" page. If a good fit isn't seen there, please contact Greyhounds Friends for Life.

We just welcomed 5 more dogs from Tuscon and another greyhound from Korea on December 28! Most folks involved in rescue/adoption will agree that placing black dogs is more difficult than other colors. We have a number of very sweet black dogs now and they are gorgeous. |
