Frank

King of Battle 12/17/2010 		Frank - King of Battle

King of Battle (Frank) has moved to Sacramento with his forever family; James, Ahah & Hannelore Rygg-Whetstone.   James and 4 year old Hannelore are waiting patiently at home for Frank's arrival.  They are so excited to have another greyhound
in the house.  He will be their favorite gift this Christmas!!


 

Sugar

Wayne's Sportie 12/11/2010 		Sugar - Wayne's Sportie

Wayne's Sportie was added to our recent December 5th haul at the last minute.  We are so very glad this sweet and spunky girl came to California and that Phil was able to foster her.  It didn't take Phil long to decide that Sportie had found her permanent home with him in Santa Rosa.  Sportie is now Sugar.

Lanakina

Taplin's Mindy 12/05/2010 		Lanakina - Taplin's Mindy

Taplin's Mindy who arrived in California today has been adopted. Mindy is now Lanakina and will be spending her retirement in Windsor with her new Mom Cathy and new canine brother a Staffordshire Terrier named Capone. Lanakina is the cutest, tiniest dark brindle greyhound and while a shy girl now, we can't wait to hear how she blossoms in her new home.

Giabella

Gitrdone Left 10/23/2010 		Giabella - Gitrdone Left Gitrdone Left has found her forever home with the Pearson family in Napa. The Pearsons signed up to foster for WCGA way back in July and waited patiently until October for us to bring more dogs to California. Well it didn't take them long before they decided that Giabella was not going anywhere. We love our foster failures.

Stig

Fire Strike 10/16/2010 		Stig - Fire Strike Fire Strike is now Stig and will be living in Ukiah with Caitlin and Chase. Stig is decked out in green to match the chasemcfarlandracing logo. Stig is one lucky boy who will get to do some traveling on the motorcycle circuit. I see a pair of green doggles in Stig's future.

Leah

Oxbow Spider 08/30/2010 		Leah - Oxbow Spider The black beauty Oxbow Spider has the beautiful new name of Leah and is enjoying life with Kellie and her greyhound sister Alice in Sebastopol. Don't let Leah's stance fool you, Leah has blossomed in her new home and you’d never know her as the shy hound that arrived from Arizona on July 24th. Congratulations!

Minnie

Lady Minnie 08/29/2010 		Minnie - Lady Minnie Sally and Martin who have a soft spot for senior hounds have adopted 9 year old Minnie. We are so happy that Minnie will live the good life of retirement in Fortuna with Sally, Martin and her two greyhound siblings who are patiently awaiting her arrival.

Jack

Rattlesnake Bite 08/14/2010 		Jack - Rattlesnake Bite Rattlesnake Bite is now Jack and is looking forward to meeting his new whippet brother Jett. Adrienne and Mark of Santa Rosa are now empty nesters with their children away at college they wanted to add a dog to their family. They did a lot of research before they decided on a greyhound and it is clearly evident how smitten they both are with Jack .

Wonder

Pak Wonder On 08/12/2010 		Wonder - Pak Wonder On Wonder was officially adopted last week by her foster family and now has a forever home in Granite Bay with Ray, Victoria, Lexi and their kitten, Missy. Wonder is a real doll and her family has already introduced her to many local greyhounds and owners here in the Sacramento area. We can’t wait to see more of her!

Power

Power Ta Power 08/03/2010 		Power - Power Ta Power We had a teeny inkling it would only be a matter of time before Patti & Jeff became completely smitten with their foster hound, “Power Ta Power.” PTP now has the powerful and fitting name of “Edison.” Edison is quite happy to join his retired greyhound brother, Cecil in Citrus Heights where they will both continue to enjoy the good life!
