Chester
Iruska Link
04/26/2010 |
|
Randy, Donatella and their son Steffan knew they wanted a greyhound. After meeting Iruska Link, they couldn't get him out of their thoughts. Link, now Chester, helped make up their minds by wrapping his body around their legs and leaning against them to get more affection. Chester now has a new home with a cat sibling, and everyone involved couldn't be happier! |
Farrah
Nitro Bit O Sass
04/26/2010 |
|
We couldn't be happier for Nitro Bit O Sass, who is now Farrah. Farrah is joining Brittany in Rohnert Park with her new canine sibling (a beagle mix), and some kitties too! It was love at first sight for Brittany. Brittany works as a veterinary assistant in Petaluma and lucky Farrah will have fun going to work with Brittany. |
Zoe
Subzero Prissy
04/10/2010 |
|
Ginny was looking for an older, calm greyhound that she could train to become a pet therapy dog. As a 6.5 year old brood matron, Subzero Prissy fit that bill. Now renamed Zoe, she has adapted perfectly into Ginny's home. |
Claire
Fanatic Claire
03/31/2010 |
|
Jon and Judy knew that Fanatic Claire (right) was something special when they first started fostering her. It didn't take them long to realize that she was the perfect fit into their family. Their other greyhound, Leeta, accepted Claire very quickly and they are now inseparable. Leeta and Claire are the perfect canine siblings! |
Felice
I Should Say
03/06/2010 |
|
Ilene intended to foster I Should Say, aka Felice (the fawn one), who arrived in Santa Rosa the day after Christmas. Ilene knew immediately that Felice was one special girl and she just couldn’t let her go. Jim agreed, and Felice joined their happy family which includes her greyhound sister Sophie. We love our foster failures and couldn’t be happier. |
Larry
Wild Larry
02/14/2010 |
|
Annie & Jacob of Sacramento, recently married and, wanting to increase the size of their family, decided that the perfect addition should be a big boy greyhound. Once they saw a picture, and heard what a happy guy Wild Larry was they knew that they need not look any further. And what better day than Valentines day for the adoption to take place. This was a match that Cupid must have had a hand in. |
Grace
Pretty Woman
02/13/2010 |
|
This was truly love at first sight. Leslie, Rick, and daughter Alexandra came to see the February 6th Arizona haul of three young girls, two of which were already spoken for. As soon as they met sweet Pretty Woman they knew that they had found a great personality match for their family, which also includes a bouncy little Italian Greyhound, Ted. Only one week later Pretty Woman, renamed Grace, was adopted and has gone to her FOREVER HOME in San Rafael. |
Jewel
Judy Votaw
01/25/2010 |
|
We just love our foster failures. Once wasn't enough for Liz--she failed with little fawn Bitty only 7 months ago. Liz instantly fell head over heals with her latest foster, Judy Votaw, now Jewel, the gorgeous brindle. Liz and Bitty are thrilled to have Jewel part of their growing family. Maybe we can convince Liz to foster again!? |
Raven
Gs Meltdown
01/24/2010 |
|
Raven is at home with Amber and her daughter Hanna in Eureka. Amber promised her daughter that once she finished school they would adopt a greyhound. Their only requirement was a hound that could accompany them when they hike and go to the beach. The active, curious but mostly sweet as can be Raven was the perfect fit! |
Leo
Starz J Leo
12/28/2009 |
|
Stacy, Maverick, Gabriel, Marina, Trinity, Kasey, and Leo. Can't forget Toby the cat who is waiting at home. It's hard to tell from the angle, but this guy fit the bill for Maverick...the bigger the hound, the better! Leo arrived from Tuscon on December 26 and we knew immediately that he would be the perfect match for this family. We were right--they are in love already! |
